Restaurant

"Stará Bratislava" restaurants links to the rich tradition of the hotel TATRA with its unique collection of original paintings of historic Bratislava by academic painter Stanislav Harangozo. Its capacity is 250 persons.

The menu comprises of rich variety of healthy and delicious dishes and pasta dishes and unique collection of fine wines.

History

Hotel TATRA welcomed its first guests in year 1930 and even in the begining of its history became the center of cutural, social and business-travel life. It was well-known for its French restaurant with live music band. The guests were offered not only by accomodation services, but they had also chance to amuse - following year 1945 Tatra became famous for its Tatra Ring, where boxing matches were held. Later its popularity increased owing to Tatra Cabaret, later Tatra Revue. Nowadays it is the home theater of M. Lasica and J. Satinský - Štúdio L +S, which is popular not only for satiric revues from the past, but also for excellent shows with star cast in present.

However the time to widen and improve all services afforded by Hotel TATRA has come.

From October 2008 we are offering to our clients 118 brand new rooms, so that we are increasing our total capacity up to 204 rooms, of which modern equipment will highly superior to four star standart and will satisfy also highly exacting clients during their official or privat trips. To your satisfaction will oblige also our newly rebuilt and extended restaurant amd café or possibility of safe parking in our hotel garage. Room for your business or social activities will be mostly assured by our variable conference and congress with capacity of 25 to 400 guests. Its wide range of technical equipment follows current trends in presentation technology and contains as well wide projector screen or interpreter booth. To business character of hotel belongs hotel transfer service or wireless internet acces in whole building. After a tiring day you can relax and regenerate your strength by using services of our Relax center.
